Actor Naga Chaitanya scored a much-needed hit with the patriotic romantic drama Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The movie emerged as the highest-grosser in Chaitanya’s career. Basking in the success of Thandel, Chay is quickly moving on to his 24th film.
Directed by Virupaksha fame Karthik Varma Dandu, the film is a mythological thriller that will be produced on a massive budget. The heavy-duty VFX film falls in the treasure hunt adventure zone, as stated by the protagonist himself in a recent interview. Naga Chaitanya is pretty excited to be part of this project, which he says is his biggest film to date.
Social media is abuzz with speculation that “Vrusha Karma” is the title. The movie will likely feature Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings are producing it. Sparsh Shrivastava of Laapataa Ladies fame will play the antagonist. Ajaneesh Loknath will compose the music.
