Super Subbu marks Netflix’s first-ever original Telugu series. Headlined by Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar, the show is directed by Tillu Square fame Mallik Ram. The series will start streaming on July 3.

During the promotions, Sundeep Kishan assured that Super Subbu will be a completely clean watch with no uncomfortable scenes or slurs, even though the series largely revolves around sex education.

“During the shoot, we made sure the meter wasn’t crossed. I need to give credit to Mallik Ram for making this happen. I was surprised when this subject came to me. Super Subbu is about a person finding himself through unexpected scenarios in life. We are not teaching how to ride a bike. We are just telling what rules need to be followed,” Sundeep said, referring to the show’s approach to sex education.
