The highly anticipated movie scheduled for next Sankranthi, featuring blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming collaboration with Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, is back in the headlines. Tentatively titled NKRAR2, the project has just shared an exciting new update with fans.
To welcome acclaimed music director GV Prakash Kumar on board, the makers released a hilarious promotional video. The creative announcement cleverly uses an iconic comedy scene featuring the late comedian Sutthi Veerabhadra Rao and Brahmanandam from the classic film Vivaha Bhojanambu.
This unique approach was intended to signal that the film’s soundtrack will feature a diverse and rich blend of musical emotions. The production team expressed immense gratitude to GV Prakash Kumar for wholeheartedly embracing the quirky concept and making the shoot so much fun.
Responding to the warm welcome, GV Prakash Kumar shared his excitement about joining the team for this journey. He noted that he had a fantastic time shooting the fun concept video and looks forward to creating memorable music, enthusiastically wrapping up his thoughts with a spirited Kummedddam.
The film is officially scheduled for its grand launch on June 18, 2026, with regular shooting set to commence on June 22, 2026. While Krithi Shetty has already been locked in as one of the female leads, the team is still finalising the rest of the main cast.
This massive project will be bankrolled by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, in association with Suresh Productions and Zee Studios.
