Speaking at the pre-release event of Akhanda, chief guest Allu Arjun was all praise for the film’s hero Nandamuri Balakrishna. Allu Arjun said that the relationship between Nandamuri and Allu families goes back to the legendary NT Ramarao and Allu Ramalingaiah’s times.

“I grew up watching Chiranjeevi garu and Balakrishna garu on the big screen. I admire Balakrishna gari addiction to cinema and the diction in his dialogues. I can say that no actor can match Balayya sir’s dialogue delivery,” said the Pushpa actor, who also went on to say that he admires how Balayya lives his life on his own terms.

Talking about Akhanda’s director Boyapati Srinu, Allu Arjun said that he was supposed to act in Boyapati’s debut film, Bhadra, but he chose to act in Arya instead. “I’ve seen Boyapati gari’s rise from being an AD to a star director. I’m genuinely happy to see his successful journey,” Bunny added.

Allu Arjun also said that Akhanda’s heroine Pragya Jaiswal is a very disciplined and talented actor and hoped that the film’s success will take her career to the next level. He also lauded composer Thaman and called him a Man with the Midas touch.

Appreciating the film’s producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy’s pain behind holding back his film for so long due to the pandemic, Bunny said that as a son of a producer himself, he understands what a producer goes through in such circumstances. Bunny went on to wish hero Srikanth and all the cast and crew members of Akhanda ahead of the film’s release on December 2nd.
