Young and talented actor Naga Chaitanya will be next seen in the film Custody. This cop action drama is directed by Venkat Prabhu and will hit the screens on 12th May. But what’s surprising is that there has been no clarity regarding the release of Naga Chaitanya’s OTT debut series Dhootha.
This is a supernatural horror series which is directed by Vikram K Kumar. As a noted hero from Telugu headlined a web series, the show gained good buzz. During the promotions of Thank You, Naga Chaitanya revealed that the series is almost done with its shoot and will be out in early 2023.
Post Thank You release, there was no update about the series, which disappointed Akkineni fans. Also, the fact that Naga Chaitanya, who himself is not a lover of the horror genre, being part of such a supernatural show made things interesting.
Dhootha is produced by North Star Entertainment. Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai, and Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam played pivotal roles. The series is said to be about static objects getting possessed, which wreaks havoc on people who commit deadly sins.
