While Mohanlal’s controversial film L2: Empuraan is now streaming on JioCinema, the Mollywood star is gearing up to entertain fans once again with his upcoming release Thudarum, hitting theatres this Friday.
The film is releasing in Malayalam, and a Telugu version has also been announced. However, unlike Empuraan, the Telugu release has gone almost unnoticed, with minimal promotions and little buzz. At the time of writing, only a single show is scheduled in Hyderabad, raising questions about the distributor’s intent and whether additional shows will be added.
Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum features Shobana, Farhaan Faasil, Binu Pappu, and others in key roles. It is produced by Rejaputhra Visual Media, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy.
