Dhurandhar, Bollywood’s latest spy thriller, has gone on to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. The film set multiple records and even went past Pushpa 2’s Hindi third-week record.
A few days ago, strong buzz did the rounds about Dhurandhar heading for a Telugu release, aiming to tap into a wider audience base. However, the buzz died down quickly, leaving those looking forward to the release disappointed. It has already been three weeks since the film hit the big screens, and there now seem to be very slim chances of the Telugu version making it to theatres.
A Telugu version could instead land on OTT, which remains the only ray of hope for Telugu audiences at the moment. Meanwhile, the makers continue to maintain silence on the Telugu release. The buzz in tinseltown suggests that Dhurandhar could start streaming on Netflix from January 30, 2026.
