Romance takes center stage this Valentine’s Day with Couple Friendly, starring Santosh Soban and Manasa Varanasi as the lead pair and directed by Ashwin Chandrasekar.
The film has completed censor formalities and received an A certificate, which surprised many. Today, the film’s Telugu states distributor, Dheeraj Mogileneni, explained why the makers accepted the A rating.
He revealed that the censor board objected to the title and suggested changing it to Friendly Couple to secure U/A rating. However, the makers felt that altering the title would create confusion among audiences, so they chose to retain Couple Friendly and accepted the A certificate. Dheeraj added that the film is a feel good love story and contains no vulgarity.
Produced under the UV Concepts banner in association with Ajay Kumar Raju P, the film will release in Telugu and Tamil. The music is composed by Aditya Ravindran. More details are expected soon.
