It’s well known that hero Vijay Deverakonda will be acting in his Geetha Govindam director Parasuram’s next movie. Tipped to be a breezy romantic family entertainer like Geetha Govindam, this as-yet-untitled film will be bankrolled by leading filmmaker Dil Raju.
Until recently, there were reports that Vijay will be romancing star heroine Pooja Hegde in the movie. But the latest updates reveal that it’s not Pooja Hegde but it’s the Sita Ramam actress Mrunal Thakur who has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda. An official announcement on Mrunal’s inclusion in the cast will be out soon. This marks both Vijay and Mrunal’s first-ever collaboration.
The Parasuram directorial will commence its shoot soon after Vijay wraps up Gowtam Thinnanuri’s cop action drama. Vijay is currently working on Kushi in which he co-stars Samantha. On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur is shooting for Nani’s 30th movie.
