Vishwak Sen’s intense action drama Gangs of Godavari is scheduled for a grand release this Friday. The movie, directed by Krishna Chaitanya, features Neha Sshetty and Anjali as the female leads. In a recent interview, the director revealed an interesting update about the film that is sure to astonish movie buffs.

Krishna Chaitanya said, “I first shared the idea of the Gangs of Godavari with artist Anand Ramaraju, and from there, we began working on the story. The film initially started with Sharwanand. But Sharwanand asked to keep this movie on hold as his movie before this was an emotional film. Because of this, we encountered some gaps. Another movie of mine was also put on hold, and I was afraid there would be a lot of gaps. Then I narrated this story to Vishwak, and he liked the story, and the film took off again.”

We must see if Sharwanand’s decision is right or a lost opportunity. Gangs of Godavari is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the tunes.
