Kollywood hero Karthi is set to amuse audiences with Vaa Vaathiyar, which is scheduled for release on December 12. The film will release in Telugu as Annagaru Vostaru simultaneously. Nalan Kumarasamy of Soodhu Kavvum fame directed this movie, and Krithi Shetty played the female lead.
The wacky entertainer will have a runtime of just 130 minutes (2 hours and 10 minutes), which is very crisp. If the film’s content strikes a chord with the audience, then the shorter runtime could turn out to be highly advantageous. While the Tamil version pays tribute to legendary MGR, the Telugu version celebrates iconic Sr. NTR.
