Samantha will be next seen in the PAN Indian flick Shaakuntalam, which is directed by Gunasekhar. Samantha recently scored a good hit in the form of Yashoda, and the actress is looking to continue her good form with Shaakuntalam.
The interesting news is that the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical rights of the film for a fancy price. Currently, there is a buzz among the industry circles that the film will be postponed from 17th February, which is worrying the fans.
The movie is produced by Neelima Gunaa under Gunaa Team Works. Mollywood actor Dev Mohan plays the male lead in this flick, which also has Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Gauthami, Prakash Raj, Ananya Nagalla, and Allu Arha in pivotal roles. Mani Sharma is the tunesmith for this mythological drama.
