Kollywood actor Vishal has officially announced his directorial debut with Magudam aka Makutam. He released an official statement and poster, marking a new chapter in his cinematic journey on the occasion of Diwali.
Vishal stated, “Yes, never expected this scenario but circumstances had led me to take a crucial decision to rework the creative process and direct this film, a decision made not out of compulsion, but out of responsibility. And now taking the director’s seat for Magudam aka Makutam is the only way of ensuring that this film stands tall and the producer’s efforts are safeguarded.”
Ravi Arasu was earlier the director but now he has been credited for the film’s story. The movie also features Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the tunes for Makutam.
