Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter scripted history by becoming the first film in India to be made in aerial space. Directed by War and Pathaan fame Siddharth Anand, the movie is based on the Pulwama attack and the counter-strike attack done by the Indian Air Force. The movie opened to solid reviews from critics, but the box office performance was decent and not extraordinary. Fighter earned over 200 crores nett in India and a worldwide gross of 350 crores.
Long back, we reported that the Hrithik Roshan starrer might make its OTT debut on March 21. Netflix, which holds the digital rights to this biggie, has confirmed the same now. Fighter will be releasing tonight at 12 AM on Netflix, and this is a solid opportunity for those who missed watching this visual spectacle in theatres.
Deepika Padukone paired opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time in her career. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Rishabh Sawhney in pivotal roles. As of now, Fighter is the highest Indian grosser in the USA region for 2024, with a collection of over 7 million dollars.
