It’s official now. The makers of senior hero Balakrishna and director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film have just announced that the film has been titled Bhagavanth Kesari. The powerful title and the caption “I Don’t Care” perfectly reflect Balayya’s offscreen and onscreen image.
The title logo has a striking design, with the State Emblem of India (the Lion Capital of Ashoka) interleaved in it. In the poster, Balayya is seen in a salt-and-pepper look, and is dressed in a brown color Kurta and formal pants with a stole around his neck. The minimalistic accessories including a bracelet and a watch further add to his overall persona. The poster features an image which seems to have been taken from an action sequence.
Anil Ravipudi is said to be showcasing Balayya in a never-before-seen avatar in the movie. The makers have come up with a unique way to unveil the title, where 108 hoardings were installed in 108 locations across the twin Telugu States. Also, there are other exciting surprises in store for fans on Balakrishna’s birthday (June 10th).
Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady in the movie, while Sreeleela will also be seen in a crucial role. Hindi film actor Arjun Rampal is making his Tollywood debut with the movie. Thaman composes the music for this Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi production on Shine Screens. The makers are planning to release the film for Dasara.
