Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s OG recorded the biggest ever first weekend for the star actor with over Rs. 250 crores gross. Directed by Sujeeth, the gangster action drama featured Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Priyanka Mohan played the female lead.
According to trade reports, OG collected around Rs. 10 crores gross globally on its first Monday. The hiked ticket prices affected the footfalls, but the rates have now been reverted to the normal range in Telangana. Going forward, OG should capitalize on the Dussehra festival season. Also, Kantara: Chapter 1’s reports play a key role in determining how OG will fare in the long run.
OG also stars Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Upendra Limaye, Harish Uthhaman, and Sudhev Nair in supporting roles. Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari of DVV Entertainment, the film’s music is scored by Thaman.
