Oh My God 2, starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in the lead roles, became a commercial success. There were no big expectations among the trade circles prior to the release, but the film’s strong content is reflecting in the box office collections.
The movie collected a little over 6 crores nett yesterday. Oh My God 2 has collected 91 crores nett mark till now at the ticket windows. The movie will likely cross the 100 crores nett mark today. After Sooryavansi, Akshay’s films struggled to breach the 100 crores mark, and the star actor received several trolls on social media.
But Akshay Kumar came back strong and gave an answer to the haters with Oh My God 2. A few are opining that Gadar 2 has affected the box office prospects of Oh My God 2 to a great extent. The satirical comedy-drama is bankrolled jointly by Viacom 18 Studios, Cape of Good Films, and Wakaoo Film Production.
