Aishwarya Rajesh and Thiruveer starrer Oh Sukumari has finally made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video after completing its theatrical run. Although the makers initially planned it as a pan-Indian theatrical release, the film eventually released only in Telugu.
After failing to leave a mark at the box office, Oh Sukumari is now streaming on OTT in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The digital release gives the romantic comedy drama a second chance to reach a wider audience beyond its theatrical run.
The story follows a young man’s romance with Sukumari, which takes an unexpected turn after a hidden truth from her family’s past comes to light. It remains to be seen whether the film finds better acceptance among home audiences through its digital premiere.
Directed by Bharat Dharshan, the film also features Srinivas Gavireddy, Jhansi, Muralidhar Goud, Vishnu Oi, Anjaiah Milkuri, Kranthi Balivada, and others in key roles. Produced by Maheswara Reddy Mooli under the Gangaa Entertainments banner, the film has music composed by Bharath Manchiraju.
