Versatile actor Dhanush and Mollywood Megastar Mammootty joined hands for the action drama OM. Amaran fame Rajkumar Periasamy is directing the film. The film has gained good buzz with its promotional material released to date.
OM was supposed to hit the big screens on October 16 for Dussehra, but Dhanush postponed his film as a mark of respect to Superstar Rajinikanth, whose Jailer 2 is also arriving around the same time.
Dhanush also revealed that OM won’t arrive for Diwali either, as Suriya’s Scene has already been announced for the festival. Dhanush says this decision was taken keeping the larger welfare of cinema in mind. The new release date will be announced very soon.
Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela play the female leads. OM focuses on unsung heroes who blend into society. Anbuchezhiyan is backing the biggie under the Gopuram Films banner. Sai Abyankkar is composing the music.
