According to the latest report published in a Hollywood magazine, star Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is one of the hot favorites to win the prestigious Oscar Award for Best Supporting Actress at the 93rd Academy Awards early next year. Apparently, Priyanka’s performance in her upcoming Hollywood film, The White Tiger, is sure to floor the critics and jury members.
The White Tiger is based on noted Indian author Aravind Adiga’s acclaimed book of the same title. The film also features award-winning Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao in a lead role. The film has been directed by Hollywood filmmaker Ramin Bahrani and it will be released directly on an OTT platform.
Priyanka is being a hot favorite amongst other top contenders like Meryl Streep (for The Prom), Han Yen-ri (for Minari), Kristin Scott Thomas (for Rebecca) and Olivia Colman (for The Father).
