Aishwarya Rajesh, who scored a solid hit in Telugu with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, has Oh…! Sukumari lined up next, co-starring Thiruveer. One of her Tamil films released earlier this year, Theeyavar Kulai Nadunga, is now in focus again following OTT developments.
The film, directed by debutant Dinesh Lakshmanan, was released in Telugu as Mufti Police. The theatrical release passed without much notice, mainly due to minimal promotions.
According to the latest reports, Mufti Police, which also stars ‘Action King’ Arjun, is likely to premiere on Aha on December 19, 2025. The Tamil version is already streaming on Sun NXT, while Aha is yet to confirm the Telugu release officially.
Backed by G. Arul Kumar under the GS Arts banner, with music by Bharath Aaseevagan, the film failed to generate strong word of mouth during its theatrical run.
