The highly anticipated Bollywood historical drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Laxman Utekar, is now streaming on Netflix.
While fans were excited about its OTT release, many, especially Telugu-speaking audiences, were left disappointed. Despite the film’s theatrical release in Telugu, Netflix has only made the Hindi version available.
Viewers expected a multilingual release on OTT to match the film’s theatrical rollout, but that wasn’t the case. A movie of this scale deserves a broader reach, and limiting it to a single language restricts its audience.
