Bollywood’s sensational film Dhurandhar made its OTT debut yesterday on Netflix and quickly topped the charts at the number one spot. The movie received a strong response from OTT audiences as well. However, there was a major complaint from viewers who watched the film both in theatres and on OTT.

Many complained that the colour grading on Netflix was not as good as the theatrical version. Movie buffs called out Netflix for the sudden drop in visual quality and expressed their disappointment. This prompted the makers and the OTT team to react quickly and make the necessary changes.

A new version of the film was uploaded just a few years ago on Netflix with improved colour grading, which received a thumbs up from those who had earlier raised the issue.

This is a rare instance where an OTT platform responded swiftly and implemented changes based on audience feedback.

Dhurandhar is not only trending in India but is also performing extremely well in several other countries. The momentum is expected to grow further in the coming days, with strong OTT viewership anticipated.

The spy action drama stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role and is directed by Aditya Dhar. Supporting roles by Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal add strength to the film.
