Jio Hotstar’s South Unbound event which was conducted a few days ago has unveiled the new content slate that will be releasing on the platform in 2026. One of them was Lucky The Superstar, a web film that is headlined by GV Prakash Kumar and Anaswara Rajan.
Today the OTT platform announced that that Lucky The Superstar will be available for streaming from February 20. The movie will also be released in other major languages simultaneously. Lucky The Superstar is directed by Uday Mahesh, the actor who portrayed Chellam character in Raj and DK’S The Family Man series.
The story follows a puppy whose presence leaves a lasting impact wherever it goes. From healing a child’s broken spirit to bringing a fractured family back together, and even triggering a ripple effect in the political space, Lucky is said to be a heartwarming tale designed primarily to delight kids and family audiences. The trailer will be released soon.
