Nithiin was last seen in the film Robinhood. The action comedy entertainer directed by Venky Kudumula clashed with Mad Square at the box office. Nithiin and the team promoted the film aggressively, but it failed to pique the audience’s interest. The mixed reviews further sealed its fate at the box office.
Robinhood marked the second collaboration between Nithiin and Venky Kudumula after the superhit Bheeshma. The latest update is that the movie is streaming on ZEE5 in Telugu audio with English subtitles. Unlike most Telugu films, Robinhood opted for a six-week OTT window.
Given the fact that Robinhood underperformed in theatres, it is expected to register decent viewership digitally. Sreeleela played the female lead, and this marked her second film with Nithiin after Extra Ordinary Man. Mythri Movie Makers produced this flick. GV Prakash Kumar composed the tunes.
