The latest update is that the movie has locked its OTT partner. Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the streaming rights for a notable amount. However, it will take some time for the film to premiere on the platform. Until then, viewers can enjoy Barroz on the big screen.
The story and screenplay of Barroz were written by Jijo Punnoose, based on the novel Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, the film features Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Tuhin Menon, and Guru Somasundaram in significant roles.
