Madharaasi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, has hit the big screens today. The action-packed entertainer directed by AR Murugadoss received mixed reviews from critics. Sivakarthikeyan is being lauded for his performance, but critics felt that the director should have worked more on the screenplay. Sandalwood beauty Rukmini Vasanth played the female lead.
The latest update reveals that Prime Video bagged Madharaasi’s post-theatrical streaming rights. The film will come on OTT probably four weeks after its theatrical release. Madharaasi is the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss. Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal played the antagonist.
The action entertainer also features Biju Menon, Vikranth, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and others in supporting roles. N.V. Prasad of Sri Lakshmi Movies produced this flick. Anirudh Ravichander composed the tunes.
