Kannada film Kantara, starring Rishab Shetty, has broken all the box office records in Sandalwood. Apart from playing the lead role, Rishab Shetty also directed this rustic action drama. Right now, its prequel, Kantara 1, is in the making. Recently, the makers launched its title teaser, which mesmerized the audience.
Prime Video has bagged the streaming rights of this much-anticipated film, and an official announcement has been made in this regard. Kantara 1 explores the legend emerging during the Kadambas’ reign, and the storyline takes place between 345 CE and 500 CE.
Rishab Shetty once again plays the lead role and is also the director of this prequel. Kantara Chapter 1 will be made on a bigger scale than Kantara. Vijay Kiragandur is producing Kantara 1 under Hombale Films.
