Sirai is a recent Kollywood crime drama headlined by Vikram Prabhu, son of actor Prabhu. The film arrived with no expectations but turned out to be a surprise hit at the box office after receiving positive reviews. The movie was directed by debutant Suresh Rajakumari.
Sirai is set for its digital premiere on January 23 on ZEE5. However, the latest information suggests that the film might not get a Telugu release in the digital space. Usually, hit films are dubbed and released in other languages on OTT platforms. If Sirai does not get a Telugu version, it could miss out on a sizable audience.
It remains to be seen whether or not the makers will dub the film in other languages. Produced by S.S. Lalit Kumar under the Seven Screen Studio banner, the movie also stars L.K. Akshay Kumar, Anishma Anilkumar, and Anantha Thambirajah in key roles. Justin Prabhakaran composed the music.
