Netflix’s maiden original Telugu web series, Super Subbu, is back in the spotlight. The comedy entertainer has been carrying decent buzz ever since its quirky teaser was unveiled, and audiences have been eagerly waiting for an official update on its digital premiere.
The wait is finally over. Netflix has now announced that Super Subbu will premiere on July 2, 2026. In a significant move, the streaming platform is releasing the series not only in Telugu but also in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, giving the show a much wider reach from day one.
The series was recently spotted in Netflix’s ‘Coming Soon’ section, sparking speculation that its release was around the corner. The latest announcement has now confirmed both the premiere date and the platform’s ambitious plans for the project.
Produced by Rajiv Chilaka and Bharath Laxmipati under the Chilaka Productions banner, Super Subbu stars Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar in the lead roles. The ensemble cast also includes Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Sampoornesh Babu, Hyper Aadi, Getup Srinu, and Manasa Chaudhary in key roles.
