Jigris is the latest buddy comedy drama from Tollywood. The film grabbed attention after sensational filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga promoted it extensively. However, Jigris failed to gain much traction during its theatrical run.
The movie is now finding good support on OTT. Jigris is currently trending at the sixth position on the Prime Video India charts, an impressive feat for a small film. After a dull run in theatres, the movie is performing well in the digital space. Jigris is also streaming on Sun NXT apart from Prime Video.
Krishna Burugula, Ram Nithin of MAD fame, Mani Vaka, and Dheeraj Athreya played the lead roles. Harish Reddy Uppula made his directorial debut with this film, which is produced by Krishna Vodapalli under the Mount Meru Pictures banner. Syed Kamran composed the music.
Jigris is about four friends who embark on a trip to Goa with no money, no phones, and no GPS. Their car, a character in itself, gives them trouble like never before, leading to unforgettable memories with chaotic fun.
