The Family Star marks Vijay Deverakonda’s debut collaboration with Mrunal Thakur and his second with director Parasuram Petla. After its underwhelming performance in cinemas upon its release on April 5, 2024, the film premiered digitally on Amazon Prime Video last Friday in Telugu and Tamil.
Despite facing criticism, including trolling for a particular scene, the movie has unexpectedly reached the No. 1 position on the OTT platform, currently trending at the top on Amazon Prime Video.
Alongside the leads, the film features Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and Vennela Kishore in significant roles. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie has music by Gopi Sundar. Stay tuned for more updates
