Director Gunasekhar’s Euphoria is a social awareness film starring Dhurandhar fame Sara Arjun in the lead role, alongside Bhumika, Vignesh Gavireddy, and Gautham Vasudev Menon in key roles.
The makers have now shared an interesting update on social media. According to them, Euphoria has beaten recent Hollywood titles Michael and Project Hail Mary on Amazon Prime Video’s rental charts. All three films are currently available for rent on the platform, with Euphoria emerging as the No. 1 rental title in India.
It is interesting to see a Telugu film topping the rental charts and receiving a strong response from audiences. The team expressed happiness over the achievement.
Though the film was appreciated for its content, its theatrical collections failed to meet expectations. However, its performance on OTT suggests that it has found a wider audience after its theatrical run.
The film also stars Nassar, Rohith, Likhitha Yalamanchali, Addala Prudhviraj, and Kalpalatha in key roles. Kaala Bhairava composed the music, while Neelima Guna and Yuktha Guna produced the project.
