Middle Class Melodies, starring Anand Deverakonda and Varsha Bollamma, premiered directly on Prime Video during the COVID pandemic and went on to become a solid hit. Directed by Vinod Anantoju, the family drama earned widespread appreciation. The actor-director duo has now reunited for a new film titled Takshakudu.
Like Middle Class Melodies, Takshakudu will also skip a theatrical release and premiere directly on Netflix. The makers unveiled the film’s teaser today, and it looks highly gripping, packed with thrilling elements and striking visuals.
Anand Deverakonda essays the role of a blind man who is being pursued by an unknown person. As the narrative unfolds, he searches for answers to his unanswered questions. The production values and cinematography significantly enhance the impact.
Laapataa Ladies fame Nitanshi Goel makes her Tollywood debut with this film. Takshakudu is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema.
The streaming date is yet to be announced. Netflix plans to release Takshakudu in a massive 30 languages across multiple countries.
