OTT: ZEE5’s recent spy thriller Tehran now arrives on Netflix

Bollywood actor John Abraham was recently seen in the spy thriller Tehran. Directed by Arun Gopalan, the film had a direct-to-digital release on ZEE5, skipping the theatrical release. The movie is based on the 2012 attacks on Israeli diplomats. Neeru Bajwa and Manushi Chhillar essayed other key roles.

The movie received promising reviews and is fetching a good response from viewers. We already stated the possibility of the film arriving on Netflix. It has now been announced that the John Abraham starrer is also available on Netflix. This move comes as part of a larger digital rollout strategy to increase the film’s reach among a larger section of the audience and those interested in geopolitical thrillers.

Audiences can now enjoy the spy thriller on both digital platforms. Madhurima Tuli, Alyy Khan, and Elnaaz Norouzi played supporting roles. Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, in collaboration with Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell of Bake My Cake Films, produced Tehran. Ketan Sodha and Tanishk Bagchi composed the tunes.
