Our country is at war with COVID: NTR requests fans a day before his b’day

Tomorrow (May 20) marks Tollywood star NTR’s birthday. Usually, Tarak’s fans erupt in celebrations on this special occasion. However, the actor took to Twitter and made a humble appeal to all his fans who are planning to celebrate his birthday is a big way.

NTR started off his note, saying that he has seen all the get well soon messages and videos posted by his fans and said that he is indebted to all their love. Tarak also said that he is doing very good and hoped to test negative for COVID-19 soon.

The RRR star went on to tell his fans, “In these challenging times, the biggest gift you can give me is to stay home and follow local lockdown rules. Our country is at war with COVID-19. Our medical community and frontline workers are waging a selfless and tireless war. Many people have lost their loved ones and livelihoods. This is not a time for celebration. This is a time for showing our solidarity with those in need. Please take care of your family and loved ones. Support each other and extend a helping hand to those in need,” Tarak wrote in the note.

NTR concluded his note with a promise. “When all this is over and the war on COVID-19 is won, we shall celebrate together,” he told his fans, also asking them to “wear a mask and stay at home.”
