For the last few days, there have been non-stop rumors that popular Tamil hero R Madhavan will be playing the main antagonist in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa. Madhavan was rumored to have replaced yet another Tamil star, Vijay Sethupathi, who walked out of the project due to reasons unknown.

Needless to say, fans were excited about to witness the face-off between Allu Arjun and Madhavan. However, Maddy ended all the rumors with just one tweet last night. “Not true at all guys,” the actor tweeted in response to a Bollywood media’s report on the same. Madhavan is one of the very few pan-Indian actors from the south, and his presence would have given an added advantage for the movie.

That said, Pushpa makes are on a hunt to find a suitable actor who will confront Allu Arjun in this rustic rural action drama. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady in this Mythri Movie Makers’ production. Stay tuned for further updates.
