Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, directed by Amar Kaushik, did average business at the ticket windows. This creature comedy thriller faced severe competition from Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 and hence less collections. Kriti Sanon played the female lead, and Abhishek Banerjee played a key role.
In the Jio Studios’ event conducted last night, a sequel of Bhediya was announced. Now this announcement has drawn mixed reactions from netizens as part 1 was not a big hit. Now it will be interesting to see how the sequel will fare at the box office.
The movie will hit the big screens in 2025. The shoot will commence after the completion of Stree 2. Also, it would be exciting to see who would play the leading lady as Kriti Sanon’s role in Bhediya dies. Maddock Films and Jio Studios will bankroll Bhediya 2.
