Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan opened on a stellar note in the USA by grossing close to $10 million in the first week itself. At one point, it was estimated that it might even beat Baahubali 2’s record at the USA box office.
But Pathaan has slowed down considerably over the second weekend and it might end up with a lifetime gross of $18 million or under.
This would mean that Baahubali 2’s record of over $20 million would remain intact in the USA.
That said, this is an conservative estimate and it is subject to change. If Pathaan records another blockbuster weekend, then it can very much inch towards Baahubali 2. But this is a tall order.
