After Pathaan, two biggies arrived at the box office which are Karthik Aaryan’s Shehzada and Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee. But, unfortunately, both these are remakes and failed to amuse the audiences. Hence the theatrical run of these two has almost come to a closing stage.
This has become a massive advantage for Pathaan, which is now having a one-horse race at the box office even in its sixth weekend. Yesterday the movie collected a whopping 2.05 crores, which is double that of Friday’s collections. The even more interesting fact is that the trending is better than the fifth weekend.
The movie will again be losing a significant chunk of screens with the arrival of Ranbir’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar this Wednesday, but the job has been done already. It will be interesting to see which film will break the collections record of Pathaan in Hindi.
