Pattudala is Ajith’s latest film, which was released in Telugu with very little promotion. The action drama opened to dull reviews across the Telugu states and has been struggling at the box office.
Despite it being a Sunday, Pattudala saw an occupancy rate of less than 30%. By the looks of it, the film might be out of theaters by Monday. Shockingly, its Telugu collections have not even crossed ₹2 crore, which is quite disappointing.
The makers did little to promote the film and the routine, uninspiring narration left many audiences unimpressed. In Tamil, the film is also underperforming, as per trade reports.
With such low figures, Pattudala is likely to end up as one of Ajith’s biggest flops in recent years. Unless something changes drastically, the film’s fate at the box office appears sealed.
