Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pushpa Srivani blasted Pawan Kalyan for his comments on rapists. Recently, Pawan said that it’s enough to cane the rapists twice whenever they are convicted for their crime. Pawan’s comments gained prominence in wake of the horrific gang-rape and murder of a young vet near Hyderabad.
In a sharp counter, Pushpa Srivani said that Pawan’s comments are a reflection of his ignorance. She went on to say that Pawan’s comments have seriously hurt women and demanded Pawan to apologize to the womankind.
Incidentally, soon after the brutal murder of the vet, Pawan issued a press note and demanded a strict punishment to the culprits.
