However, what caught many people’s attention was Anna’s reply to Chiranjeevi, where she addressed him as “annayya.” This left some netizens surprised, as they expected her to use “bava garu.” Noticing the curiosity and confusion, Anna chose to clarify it with a heartfelt post.
She wrote, “Almost fifteen years ago, I arrived in a family where everyone already belonged to each other. I didn’t know how to fit in. I didn’t know what to call anyone. So I borrowed the words from my husband – ‘Annaya. Chinna Annaya.’”
She continued, “At first, it was just something I said, carefully and unsure. But over time, it became something I felt. Later, I learned there was another way I could have addressed them. But by then, it wasn’t about language anymore.”
Explaining her emotions in a simple and touching way, she added, “I never had a brother. And life, very quietly, gave me two, Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu.”
