Srikanth Addala, renowned for his delightful family-oriented films, surprised everyone when he took on the directorial reins for a rural action drama titled Peddha Kapu 1. The movie’s theatrical trailer made its debut at a grand event held in Hyderabad.
Following the trailer launch, the movie team engaged with the media. In response to a question, Srikanth Addala shared an intriguing tidbit about his involvement as an actor in the project. He revealed that casting Sreenath Bhasi, a well-known Malayali actor recognized for his stellar performances in Kumbalangi Nights, Home, and Ustad Hotel, had been his initial choice. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Sreenath Bhasi couldn’t join the sets, prompting Srikanth Addala to step into the role himself.
Virat Karrna and Pragati Srivastava portray the lead roles in this film. Miryala Ravinder Reddy produced the movie under the banner of Dwaraka Creations. Notable actors such as Rao Ramesh, Naga Babu, Tanikella Bharani, and Anasuya Bharadwaj are also part of this cinematic endeavour, scheduled to grace the screens on September 29, 2023. Mickey J Meyer composed the music for the film.
