Peddi is easily one of the most anticipated Telugu films of 2026, with massive expectations surrounding Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana’s ambitious rural sports drama. The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026, and the buzz surrounding its narrative structure is growing stronger with every new update.

In a recent interaction with CNN-News18, senior Bollywood actor Boman Irani shared an interesting detail about his role in the film. The veteran actor revealed that he does not have any combination scenes with Ram Charan or Divyenndu Sharma in Peddi. Although they were part of the same shooting schedules and filmed in the same locations, Irani clarified that they mostly crossed paths only while travelling between shoots.

This revelation has now sparked fresh discussions among fans and movie lovers. Going by Irani’s comments, it strongly appears that his character belongs to the present timeline, while Ram Charan’s role unfolds in a completely different phase of the story. The update also hints that Peddi’s journey could be presented through an extended flashback narrative, which may form the emotional backbone of the film.

Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this prestigious project, while Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu essay key roles. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, the film has music composed by legendary composer A.R. Rahman. With expectations rising rapidly, Peddi is shaping up to be a potentially memorable cinematic experience on the big screen.
