Ram Charan’s Peddi is currently in production. The rural sports action drama is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. Recently, a YouTube reviewer sparked controversy by claiming that he knows the film’s story during a meet with his peers and went on to badmouth the big-ticket project.
Actor Vishwaksen called out the YouTuber’s behaviour and termed such individuals as parasites. Taking to X, he wrote, “Isn’t it fair to call someone like him a parasite to cinema? He benefits from the industry, feeds himself and his family through it, yet tries to destroy a film even before it’s released. It’s like spitting on the very plate he eats from.”
Following this, fans have urged the production house to be extra cautious to prevent leaks. The YouTuber is also facing backlash online, not just from Ram Charan’s admirers, but from movie buffs and fans of other actors as well.
