The Telangana government has officially issued the GO approving ticket price hikes for Ram Charan’s Peddi. While earlier reports suggested a hike of Rs. 150 in multiplexes, the government has approved an increase of Rs. 125.
For single-screen theatres, ticket prices have been enhanced by Rs. 100. The revised ticket rates are Rs. 275 in single screens and Rs. 420 in multiplexes. Premiere show tickets, starting from 8 PM, have been capped at Rs. 600. The revised pricing will remain in effect for ten days from June 4.
As per the GO, 20% of the additional revenue generated through the ticket hike must be contributed to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Association to support film industry workers.
With the long-awaited GO finally in place and bookings opening across Nizam, Peddi is all set for a massive start at the box office.
