Ram Charan’s Peddi mania has officially started with the North America bookings opening. Within the first 24 hours, the biggie grossed $158K from premiere show pre-sales, which is an outstanding start.

So far, over 1000 shows have opened, and the distributor has planned a mammoth release in the territory. The trailer is set to arrive next week, after which the hype is expected to go to another level.

Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this Buchi Babu Sana directorial. Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas is bankrolling the film. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani play key roles. Peddi releases on June 4 in major Indian languages.
