Ram Charan’s highly anticipated rural sports drama, Peddi, has officially opened advance bookings across North America, sparking a pre-release frenzy among fans. The production team announced that ticket sales are now live for both premieres and regular screenings. To manage the high demand, special pricing tiers have been introduced specifically for the Telugu version across various premium formats.
For the initial Telugu premiere shows on Wednesday, June 3, standard 2D tickets are priced at $25 and $20. Viewers opting for Premium Large Format (PLF) screenings will see an additional $5 charge. Specialty formats are expected to cost between $7 and $10 extra, depending on the specific theater location.
The pricing structure for the remainder of the first week has also been finalised for the Telugu screenings. Standard 2D tickets will adjust to $20 and $18 during this period. Additionally, premium large format screens will carry a surcharge between $2 and $5, while specialty formats will maintain their higher price points.
In contrast, the Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada dubbed versions will not feature special premiere pricing. Standard ticket rates will apply to these versions starting from opening day. This strategy ensures that the dubbed releases remain accessible to a wide audience while capitalising on the massive core fanbase for the original version.
With bookings now officially open, fans are already rushing to secure their seats for the cinematic experience. Given the intense buzz surrounding the film, trade analysts expect record-breaking advance sales figures in the coming days. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi remains one of the most awaited releases of the year.
