Team Peddi commenced promotions today, with Production Designer Kolla Avinash starting to give media interviews. The sports action drama featuring Ram Charan is set to arrive in cinemas on June 4. Buchi Babu Sana is the director.
Speaking in an interview, Kolla Avinash said, “For the first time in the last few years, it took me 20-25 minutes to return to normal after hearing Peddi’s story. It stunned me. I felt I shouldn’t miss this film at any cost. Peddi has so much potential.”
He added, “Peddi is set in the 70s–80s era, rooted in the rustic landscapes of Vizianagaram’s villages. We spent a year in pre-production, building the world from the ground up – with 24 massive sets brought to life for the film.”
